It wasn't until recently that I rediscovered India.Arie as a young adult. I never really understood her mesage when I was younger, but now that I'm older and wiser, I think her songs are beautiful, and her messages are easy to relate to.
Video has such a beautiful message. I know that nowadays people are really into outside appearance, but I want to remind everyone that the outside doesn't really matter if you're a "bad" (for lack of a better word) person. Appreciate everything that you have, including your maybe not-so-perfect body. Being a good person is what is truly important in the world.
You want to surround yourself with people who love YOU! =]
