My 4th of July was sooooo much fun! It was a hot day, perfect for BBQ's, swimming pools, & bike rides. Although there was a steady wind, the warmth of the sun was way too powerful to let it be a cold day. I didn't really have any solid plans for the day, but I just knew I wanted to eat BBQ & enjoy some fireworks. Since I got up that morning, I craaaaved some BBQ chicken! After I went to church, I received a couple of texts about BBQ's by the poolside & I was sooo stoked(yes, I said stoked)! I biked to my lovers house & when I got there I realized he could've just picked me up, but I was so set on biking that I never thought of it. Haha. We headed over to his friend's place where we hung out for hours, poolside. We sat right next to the grill, so for a second it really wasn't crackin! No one went into the pool. There were way too many kids and the jacuzzi looked mad dirty. After lounging around for hours. We left...
You know what.. I'll let the pictures speak... ;]
CAUTION: There's a TON of pics! Enjoy!

Meet Carmen.
Before we got to his friend's house, we stopped by 7-11 to buy some drinks, coal, & chips. I seen bubbles and I HAD to get them! Plus they were cute & perfect for blowing smoke bubbles!
Hi raccoon tail! ;]
Meet Ruth!
Meet Dennis! He just came back from his trip to Africa & all of his stories about Africa, made me want to visit it even more!
Hot DAWG!
Yum, yum, yum! I love ketchup!
"ASK ME ABOUT MY WEINER!" lol
We biked over to the park to find a tsunami of families BBQing, playing volleyball, & just laying around waiting the sun to go down. Every year my city holds an all day event at our community center. Around 12 they open up the city pool with food & beverages. Then around 7pm they open up the football field for people to get front row seats for the fireworks & enjoy a live band play songs you can dance to.
Every year the crowd gets bigger & bigger. I love that my city does this. It feels like one huge family. I get to see old faces I haven't seen in a while, hang out with people that I love & on occasion meet someone new.
"Happy B-Day USA!(someone) 4 Mayor"
We wanted to go inside like what we've been doing every year, but there was a "no in & out" rule. So we posted right outside the gate.
Rachelllllllllla!
Hi! Hi! Hi!
This youngin' lives right down the street from my cousin's house(house I grew up in) & Rachel's house. He says bashfully, "Hi Rachel..." :] What a little cutie! lol

After we stopped by my house, my sister told me that our childhood friend, Kyle, had a little get together. He lives a walk away from me & that's exactly where we headed.

Khrystal says hi Whit!
Blowin' bubbles all day!
Finally going hooooome!
I just could not sleep, so, I hung out with my brother & his friend, Dashawn.
Swinging on my home made swing. Made out of rope & a skateboard. LOL
I ended the night with a movie, She's Out Of My League. I thought I was not sleepy at all until I fell asleep during the movie. Overall, I had a very successful Fourth of July filled with family & friends, BBQ, & fireworks. Exactly what I wanted.
