I'm sitting here at work and cant help but to think on how i got this far in life. Ive achieved so much in life already and I'm so proud of myself. I remember graduating from high school and knowing i wanted to go to school for hair but didn't know how i was going to do that. All i thought about was my mom, she raised me on her own and I for sure didn't want to burden her with coming up with the money. I remember not having a job that i really wanted to do and just feeling depressed bc i wasn't trying my best to look for one. Until one night, i was laying in bed crying my eyes out and my mom walks in and ask whats wrong.Course told her how i was feeling and told her that i wanted to go to school for hair, but i didn't want her to pay so much money. She told me i shouldn't of been thinking that way as long as i wanted to do something with my life, she didn't mind paying for anything that made me happy. I cant tell you how happy i felt from that day on, i even went out looking for a job at a salon and i got it. It gave me so much confident in myself that i knew nothing could stop me!I went to one the best hair schools in the area. Which i thank my beautiful mother. So girls keep in mind don't let anything get in the way of your dreams.Keep striving for the best in life and you'll see how far it can get you, you just gotta work for it!

What a compelling story! From living with you I can say that I know it wasn't easy for you. Still, you are very fortunate to have a mother who whole-heartedly cares about your future. I hope that your story can be an inspiration to other young ladies. I know you will do great things, but most importantly I know you will be happy :)
