I had a client this afternoon for a shampoo and style. She was a very pretty lady in her mid 30s, half African American and Iranian. I could tell off the bat she was all high maintenance type of chick,come on she was flashing her chanel perfume lol. As i was doing her hair we were talking and getting to know each other. She told me about her self and how she just got married like a month ago and that shes a lawyer.I was like dang this sista is very smart and i know for sure makes a lot of money. But as we started to get comfortable out of no where she was like dont get married till your 30. When she said that i look at her and smiled.
i didn't want to ask why she said that but I'm sure its by experience. She said you know you have to live life and do whatever you want, go travel with your girlfriends and party it up. Have fun while your young and single. Which i thought was very true. But then she really caught my attention when she said "you need to find someone who will pay for everything girl". lol i was like ooookkk gold digger can you say?! But no come on shes a lawyer... really does that mean anything tho?! Bc homegirl was going off!!She also said how she doesn't know how most of her girlfriends have those thuggish boyfriends that don't have nothing going for them and got babies everywhere. lol yeah i know, but she did admit she was one of them too. Soooo please?!!
But that made me think about love. You really cant help who you love. No one is perfect you know! Of course i didn't mention that to her but to me it seemed she was all about finding a man with money to make you happy. Which isn't true in my book. It isn't about all the material things and how much money he makes as long as the man your with makes you happy and respects you! So ladies please dont be one of those girls that checks the man your dating "credit" lol yeah she also told me to do that!! haha crazy huh?
