ΔDVENTURES WITH MISS NOTORIOUS: Antique Festival

Greetings! to all the readers of FGR! T

his weekend my crazy cousins & I went to the annual antique festival located in the Niles. It's Fremont bound, & basically, it's a time of the year where a whole neighborhood hosts garage sales filled with vintage and antique goodies along with others trying to raise money for our troops and churches.

There's also a little old fashioned town that's full of stores that sell one of a kind pieces ranging from the 1800's-1920's. Homemade fudge, cupcakes, tea cups, vintage pins, jewelry, purses, memorabilia from WWII, vintage toys, bikes, trinkets and much more are sold throughout the town. On the way there I petted some donkeys, found a secret lake, & purchased a bed canopy, a vintage floral trunk to store all of my art supplies, an old Chanel wallet, & some awesome pins to decorate my plain lanyard. I'd like to put out to everyone that there's nothing wrong with thrift shopping/garage sale hopping. As a matter of fact, those are thee most fun, most productive styles of shopping and the best part of it all is that you save a shitload of money. AND most likely nobody will have what you bought because it's second hand and one of a kind. Hopefully everybody's weekend was just as sweet. Catch me on the next post!
