FGR'S OWN | ΔDVENTURES: New To New York

New york city is a must-see, must-visit city. For the city that never sleeps, there's so much to do! And it's because of this reason many people come unprepared because they think there's so much to do they won't need planning) . Even though I've been there only once, and for the first time 2 weeks ago, I got a lot of advice and absolutely amazing rogue spots to hit up in NYC.

Here are a few tips to help you out:
1. Public Transportation - Don't bother taking the cab/taxi, get a day pass for only $8 and you can take the subway to your location. (Learning the subway map is a bit tricky, just read the legend and bring a small pocket one with you =)

2. Where To Slumber - A Hotel could be pricey. What I did and what most people do in NYC is they rent out a fully furnished room in their apartment for as cheap as 50 bucks a night. Find them on craigslist. You want to aim at a nice room of course, and a good location. What's a good location? Near the subway. And deep in a populated area of the city.

3. CAUTION OF THE NEW YORK MINUTE - NYC got a lot of swag. Don't be too offended if they're mean and tell you to walk faster if you walk slow.

4. SOUVENIRS - You can buy postcards for as cheap as 10 for $1. Don't settle for anything cheaper. (end a postcard to your friends from NYC, it's a nice thought and a good little gift for them.

5. EXERCISE - There's a lot of walking involved. Dress to impress, but don't forget to take care of your feet.

6. ATTIRE - Dress to impress. the females are ROGUE in NYC. They are sharp and spiffy looking as hell!!!!!

7. SKRILLA - Save up money to go shopping. Some stores are ONLY located in NYC. Don't be afraid to spend, this is the time if you want to go shopping.

I'll be posting more about where to visit and dine soon!
