The Hanna-Barbera classic The Flintstones premiered on Sept. 30, 1960 at 8:30 in the evening on ABC. The first episode was called "Flintstone Flyer". Today makes them 50 today or 12,010 if we're taling B.C time. It became an instant hit that lasted six seasons.
