Free Rice has been up and donating since Oct 7 2007. In case you are not familiar with the site, Free Rice is an online website that allows people to help donate grains of rice to other countries by playing their web-based vocab games. It makes me wonder how someone can be too busy to just stop by the site and help donate by putting in some time to play a game. Over all the site has raised and donated over 80 billion grains of rice. It's pretty mind blowing to think you can help feed countries, by playing a vocab game.
