If you're a fan of acoustic music, and think Jason Mraz needs a female counterpart, I've found your girl: Kina Grannis!

She's an amazing singer, songwriter and guitarist.
She was first introduced to the world when she was featured in a Superbowl 2008 ad with her song, "Message from Your Heart."

Not only can she sing and write amazing songs, but she was also a fellow psychology major. She graduated from USC summa cum laude (highest honors). In case you were wondering, she is Japanese, English, Irish, French, Dutch, Welsh and Scottish. She also volunteers for tons of charities and cares about her fans, as seen in a tweet to yours truly =]

What makes her a female gone rogue? Well, she was signed to Interscope Records but decided to part ways with them, so she can stay true to herself and her music. It's so great that she did that because her album "Stairwells" (click to listen to the whole thing for FREE) is so good, so good that it's an album that you BUY.
