BEΔUTY GONE ROGUE | PORTFOLIO: Elise Victoria

By: Whitley Elizabeth

Okay, readers! This one is really just an experiment that turned out better than expected! :) Meet my little sister (but not really) Elise Victoria. She recently started at PMTS and is now starting a new career in the hair industry. You may or may not know her, but she is pretty awesome and a very gorgeous, daring girl- definitely one of a kind & original. Before Elise started school at Paul Mitchell, she had asked me to cut her hair so that she had a fresh doo on her first day. I ended up sitting her down with only a slight idea of what I was going to create. I ended doing a half round graduation on the the back-left panel of her head and turned it into an asymmetrical cut. The left-front portion of her hair was then cut short with extra textured layers. The right side of her head was left long with some added layers. She was very pleased with her cut and wished for me to color her hair the next time I was available. The pictures below show her cut a little grown out but still visible.

Before

Elise's natural level is at about a 6 & her canvas level was between a 6 & 7. Now, Leesie has got to be the queen of box color & probably changed her hair color with box color on more than 10 occasions within the past 2 years. To a hair dresser, if I've said this before I'm saying it again, box color is our nightmare! I was also using color that I used in previous services, which for some reason was all different level and types of red. We can only hope and pray that your hair turns out just like we pictured it! =P I was then realizing that this process was going to be more of a learning experience for the both of us where new discoveries were going to be made. With that said, lets keep this one quick and simple - let's be real, this was like really late at night & totally last week! Here it is:
