FΔSHION GONE ROGUE: Lanvin x H&M

by Virginia

It's official, Lanvin hearts H&M!

H&M’s next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin, one of the most influential brands worn by celebrities on and off the red carpet. Everyone from Mary Kate Olsen and Natalie Portman to Chloe Sevigny and Jessica Alba!
The collection of both womenswear and menswear will go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores worldwide. The collection of both will be revealed to the world on November 2, confirmed Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.

“I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public,” said Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin.

I love it when when big name designers like Matthew Williamson, Christopher Kane and Zac Posen pair up with mass-retailers like H&M, TopShop and Target (I think I had exploded ovaries when the Target x Rodarte line came out). Designer brands that don't cost an arm & a leg? HOLLA. Check out the promotional collaboration teaser video below featuring Alber Elbaz himself!

Readers, what designer brands would you like to see in the future?
